Nigerian Village Night Fundraiser
March 13,2009
This was our first fundraiser which was filled with lots of fun, food and music such as live African drumming by Kurt Gillins, a Native Galvestonian. HYBASIA friends in Galveston, Texas came out to show their support with effervescence.
Our Nigerian themed event was incusive of a silent auction of special Nigeran items plus arts and craft. We accepted $20 donations at the door and it was a great success.
Thank you to all of my friends at Universal Unitarian Fellowship of Galveston Co. who helped make this dream event become reality !!!! You Rock !!!!!
All monies received will be used in the Village of Issele-Uku, Nigeria and will benefit the children of Rev. Martin School "CLEAN HANDS SAVES LIVES " hygiene program.

We are currently planning a major fundraiser for the fall season in November. Details to follow.
What if [our charity,HYBASIA] earned a penny every time you searched the Internet? Or how about if a percentage of every purchase you made online went to support our cause? Well, now it can!
